About SafeNight

About SafeNight

Family violence (FV) agencies and their supporters have a responsibility to protect and serve adults and children who are being abused.

When a victim calls a shelter, they are often in the middle of a volatile situation, but all too often there is no space and they are turned away. Yet at the same time, thousands of hotel rooms in North Texas – potential safe harbors to those in danger – go empty every night.

SafeNight uses technologies – commercial web systems and smartphone applications – to enable shelter managers to find open hotel rooms, and then donors can pay for that room in real time from their smartphone.

Coming Soon to North Texas

AdvanceNet Labs is contributing to the development and deployment of this innovative platform under the leadership of Caravan Studios. AdvanceNet Labs and our team of local partners are currently delivering the first deployment of SafeNight in a Metro-wide fashion starting in North Texas.
